How do I back up my wallet?
During wallet creation, SAF3 displays your 12-word seed phrase. Write it down on paper and store it in a safe location. You can also view your seed phrase later in Settings > Security > Show Recovery Phrase. Never store your seed phrase digitally or share it with anyone.
I lost my seed phrase. Can you recover my wallet?
No. SAF3 is a self-custody wallet, which means only you have access to your keys. We do not store your seed phrase on any server and cannot recover it. If your seed phrase is lost, your wallet and funds are permanently inaccessible.
Is SAF3 free?
Yes. SAF3 is completely free to install and use. There are no subscription fees, premium tiers, or in-app purchases. Standard blockchain gas fees still apply to on-chain transactions.
Which blockchain does SAF3 support?
SAF3 is built exclusively for Abstract, a zkSync-based Layer 2 blockchain (Chain ID: 2741). It does not support Ethereum mainnet, other L2s, or alternative chains.
How do swaps work?
SAF3 aggregates quotes from multiple decentralized exchanges on Abstract to find the best available rate. Swaps are executed on-chain through third-party smart contracts. You review and approve every transaction before it is submitted.
Why does SAF3 need permission to access all websites?
The content script permission allows SAF3 to inject a Web3 wallet provider into web pages, which is how dApps communicate with your wallet. The content script only handles wallet connection requests — it does not read, track, or collect any page content or browsing data.
What happens if I uninstall SAF3?
Uninstalling removes all locally stored data including your encrypted vault, cached data, and preferences. If you have your seed phrase backed up, you can reinstall SAF3 and restore your wallet at any time.
