Terms of Service

By installing or using SAF3, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SAF3 Chrome extension ("Extension", "SAF3", "we", "our"). By installing, accessing, or using SAF3, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, uninstall the Extension and discontinue use.

2. Description of Service

SAF3 is a free, self-custody cryptocurrency wallet Chrome extension built exclusively for the Abstract blockchain. It allows you to:

Create and manage wallet accounts secured by a seed phrase
Send and receive tokens on Abstract
Swap tokens through third-party decentralized exchange (DEX) contracts
View NFTs, token balances, and market data
Connect to decentralized applications (dApps)

3. Self-Custody & User Responsibility

Important: SAF3 is a self-custody wallet. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your seed phrase and private keys. We cannot access, recover, or reset your wallet under any circumstances.

You are the sole custodian of your seed phrase (mnemonic recovery phrase) and private keys.
SAF3 does not store your keys on any server and has no ability to recover lost or forgotten seed phrases.
If you lose your seed phrase, your funds are permanently inaccessible. There is no recovery mechanism.
You are responsible for keeping your seed phrase stored securely offline and never sharing it with anyone.
You are responsible for all transactions initiated through your wallet.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use SAF3. By using the Extension, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

5. Token Swaps

SAF3 aggregates swap quotes from third-party decentralized exchange protocols on Abstract (including but not limited to Aborean, Kona, UniswapV2, UniswapV3, and Moonit). You acknowledge that:

Swaps are executed on-chain through third-party smart contracts that SAF3 does not own, control, or audit.
SAF3 provides a convenience interface to find favorable rates but does not guarantee execution price, slippage, or availability.
Blockchain transactions are irreversible once confirmed. SAF3 cannot reverse, cancel, or modify completed swaps.
You are responsible for reviewing all transaction details (amounts, tokens, recipient addresses) before confirming.

6. Third-Party Services & Data

SAF3 retrieves data from external services to provide wallet functionality:

Blockchain RPCs: Transaction submission and balance queries via public Abstract RPC endpoints.
Price & Market Data: Token prices and trending data from DexScreener, CoinGecko, Binance, and other APIs.
Block Explorers: Transaction history and contract verification from Abscan and Etherscan.
NFT Providers: NFT metadata and images from Reservoir, Arweave, and IPFS gateways.

This data is provided for informational purposes only. SAF3 does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of third-party data. Market data displayed in SAF3 is not financial advice.

7. dApp Connections

When you connect SAF3 to a decentralized application:

You are interacting with a third-party application that SAF3 does not own or control.
SAF3 will prompt you to approve or reject each transaction or signature request from the dApp.
You should review all transaction details carefully before approving. SAF3 is not responsible for the behavior of third-party dApps.
Connecting to a dApp does not grant it access to your private keys or seed phrase.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use SAF3 to:

Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or sanctions
Engage in money laundering, terrorist financing, or other illicit financial activity
Interfere with or attempt to compromise the Extension's functionality or security
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the Extension beyond what applicable open-source licenses permit

9. Intellectual Property

The SAF3 name, logo, and branding are the property of the g3m ecosystem. The Extension's source code is subject to its respective license terms. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use SAF3's trademarks or branding.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

SAF3 is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

The Extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of vulnerabilities
Third-party data (prices, balances, transaction status) will be accurate or timely
The Extension will be compatible with all browser versions or operating systems
Smart contracts interacted with through SAF3 are safe or audited

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SAF3 and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, funds, data, or goodwill, arising from:

Your use or inability to use the Extension
Loss of access to your wallet due to lost seed phrases or passwords
Unauthorized access to your wallet resulting from compromised credentials
Errors, bugs, or vulnerabilities in the Extension or third-party smart contracts
Price fluctuations, failed transactions, or unfavorable swap execution
Actions taken by third-party dApps, DEXs, or service providers

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SAF3 and its contributors from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Extension or violation of these Terms.

13. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last modified" date. Your continued use of SAF3 after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Termination

You may stop using SAF3 at any time by uninstalling the Extension. We reserve the right to discontinue or modify the Extension at any time without prior notice. Upon uninstallation, all locally stored data is removed from your device.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of SAF3 shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing other remedies.
